With over 20 years of experience in legal consulting, litigation support, and education, I offer highly skilled freelance legal services tailored to meet the needs of busy law offices. I specialize in providing technical and substantive legal support in state, federal, and administrative courts, with a strong background in consumer credit defense litigation and immigration law. My services include drafting complaints, discovery requests, motions, appellate briefs, and preparing for depositions, all while working closely with lead attorneys to ensure thorough case management and client satisfaction. I have experience handling complex legal research, managing large-scale document reviews, and supervising support staff, ensuring high-quality legal work on every project.

As an adjunct faculty member teaching Legal Technology and E-Discovery at Des Moines Area Community College, I also bring expertise in e-discovery processes and legal technology. This academic experience enhances my ability to integrate modern legal tools into practice, offering valuable insights to attorneys navigating today's digital legal landscape.

With a background in both large-scale document reviews and litigation project management, I am equipped to provide comprehensive support in civil litigation matters, from document management to trial preparation to appeals. My quality control work with an eDiscovery vendor further solidifies my ability to perform precise and accurate legal reviews, ensuring exceptional quality in every case I handle.

As a passionate dog lover, avid traveler, and history enthusiast, I bring unique perspectives and a well-rounded approach to my work as a freelance attorney. My love for dogs nurtures patience, empathy, and attention to detail—traits that help me connect with clients and understand their needs. Traveling has broadened my horizons, allowing me to approach legal challenges with creativity and adaptability. My interest in history fuels a deep appreciation for research and context, skills that enhance my legal analysis and decision-making. Together, these interests help me approach each case with care, precision, and a broader understanding of the world.
